Hi, I’m Yessika Silva, the founder and artist behind Only Moss. My journey with moss art began in one of the darkest chapters of my life. During a time of great sorrow and deep depression, I felt lost and disconnected. My father, always a source of wisdom and love, suggested I take a class on moss work. Little did I know, this simple suggestion would lead me to a new passion that not only reignited my sense of purpose but also brought joy and light back into my life.
That first moss class became a turning point. As I worked with the textures and colors of preserved moss, I felt a sense of calm and connection to something greater. In 2021, I decided to deepen this passion by working in a gallery, where I refined my skills and began experimenting with materials like resin and lace. The process of creating art gave me a renewed sense of hope, purpose, and happiness. By 2022, I turned this newfound passion into Only Moss, a business rooted in the belief that art can transform not only spaces but lives.
For me, moss art represents more than just decor—it’s a symbol of resilience, serenity, and timeless beauty. Every piece I create is a reflection of my journey and a celebration of nature’s ability to heal and inspire.
